Housing Referrals
We accept housing referrals from support services. For more information on our housing pathway, read our overview of what to expect. Before applying, please read our application criteria.

Female.
Single.
Aged 21 years old and above.
Has experienced sexual exploitation in the past or present
Has access to public funds.
Willing to agree to no drugs or alcohol on the premises. Where clients have a history of problematic drug or alcohol abuse, we will conduct an assessment to see if we feel we are the best people to support their needs.
Demonstrating suitability and willingness to live in semi-independent accommodation. If their mental health needs mean that they or others may be at risk, we will signpost them to alternative accommodation where their needs can be met in a more secure and supported environment.
If you feel the person you are supporting meets our criteria, please complete an initial enquiry form and we will get back to you. If we feel they meet our criteria and we have space available we will then ask you to complete a fuller referral form with your client.
Counselling Referrals
We accept self-referrals and those from support services. For information on our counselling service, see our counselling overview. Before applying, read our application criteria.

Aged 18 years or above.
Has experienced sexual exploitation in the past or present.
Is not experiencing or receiving support with severe mental health problems currently or in the past year e.g. psychotic episodes and clinical paranoia. With appropriate consent from the client, Orchards would consult with the mental health professionals involved in their care or their GP in making this decision. We work collaboratively with Mental Health/Drug & Alcohol teams. If a client is under a psychiatrist, we will always consult with the psychiatrist before offering counselling.
